Mars morning Feb 25 from Melbourne

Well the forecast was for the wind to pick up early in the morning and the change to come through this arvo in Melbourne so imaged a bit earlier which paid dividends.

Still experimenting a bit with the AS120MM in terms of the compromise between gain, noise and FPS and the "middle" way seems to be the way to go depending on the seeing.

I think Melbourne weather will get the better of us for the rest of the next week - but Mars is definitely putting on a great show and we are still 7 weeks from opposition so cannot wait.

Clear skies to all.
