Jupiter

Hi all, so I was just sitting out in my backyard minding my own business when I looked to the night sky & realised it was so clear so I ran inside grab my scope & the first thing I looked at was Jupiter! Wow so clear... It's only the 3rd time I have looked at it (2nd real good time). I can see the bands & the colouring of it. So amazing looking at something that's so far away & making out the markings on it!
It's even clear through my 6.3mm EP!
I love having a telescope

Nice one Matt. I also like looking at Jupiter, it's my favourite planet. Something always seems to be going on with Jupiter that makes for interesting viewing.

Jupiter was my first WOW experience and my first love.
I am actually sad that it is shifting west and will soon not be visible from my balcony anymore until towards the end of the year. I will have to go somewhere else to watch it...
