Hi Ian, they were closed a couple of years ago for renovations but have since re-opened last year. I don't know why the website would say they are still closed tho .
How about ringing them.

Thanks Suzy,
I called them this morning and yes they are reopen.
I went there a little earlier today ( just arrived back at RBWH) and had a look around, sad to say they dont have too much to offer, they had a life size replicar spacesuit that Armstrong wore which was good see in detail and a few videos, but they were very quick and you could not hear what was said, other than that they had a wall showing various pictures, the sun, moon, star clusters etc.
They have a star-globe type of show twice daily during week days, about 40 minutes long and around $14 per adult.
When they did the recent reno I reckon they spent it on the staff canteen and end of year party :-)
Oh they did have some very good models of various space craft that have landed on the moon, mars etc.
Im not feeling the best today so I did not have a look around the gardens which by all accounts are very nice, also its a very hot day today.

Mae West had a husky voice, and used to say,"come up and see me some time"
Get well soon,I will look forward to that Ian.

Thank you for the review, Ian. I've been really keen to see it since they re-opened- hmmm I won't hold high expectations then I guess. That's so sad- I was expecting the changes to be really exciting.

I hope you are on the mend soon and don't suffer for too much longer. Take care and all the best for a complete and quick recovery, Ian.
