Wink New canyon! First Descent on Video.

I edited this for my mates who did this canyon on the weekend. There's a bit of wild GoPro work in it, but I left it in as it contained some valuable info about the canyon. It's a little canyon I found back in 2002, but never got around to exploring properly (I only got as far as checking out access and egress and verifying it was viable).

It's nearly 1/2 an hour long, and may contain a little bit of swearing ( as I said on my YouTube Page: "Warning! May contain traces of nuts and swearing".

However, if you are not easily offended, and maybe would like to see what canyoning is about, feel free.

Thanks Al. Yeah, I think you can tell from the video it was cold!

Its a quite unusual canyon in that it's in granite. Most canyons, especially around here, form in softer rock like sandstone.

Thanks Baz, I'll pass it on.

Some of the GoPro work is a bit wild, but I guess you have to decide whether you're there to make video, or are you there to explore a canyon for the first time... I think Chad chose correctly. There's nothing contrived in it.
