Vale Craig_L

Sad to pass on the news that Craig_L (Craig Lahiff)one of IIS's keen Astrophotographers has passed away.

Craig was a great guy and friend of my family - we would catch up for coffee and chat about which sensor was the most efficient etc...you know imaging stuff!! I would always try to steer him onto the subject of his day job - Movie director! Craig was the writer/director of one of the great Aussie movies of recent years "Black and White" and most recently "Swerve".
Craig would always politely and gentlemanly re-steer me back to astrophotography.

I will miss him

Doug

Doug. He sounds like a fine fellow and talented to boot. 66 is too young. Clearly, he put others before himself.

Sad news Doug at such a reasonably young age, I sure he will be sadly missed, by you and your family.
As mentioned seems like you had some great times together

Nice to hear from you again, even it is at a difficult time

Leon
