I use ISO 100 to reduce noise most of the time, sometimes bump it to 200 if they are further away. I don't use a trigger at night, mainly because you don't need to. Bulb setting on the camera and fire away... If it's dark, you can go a long time before it becomes a problem.. many shots were in the range of 1min - 2min exposure times, the closer ones, much shorter.. I try and use the Aperture as the tool to increase or reduce the brightness of the strikes, but as you can see it works sometimes, no all the time... thats the nature of the storm unfortunately, can be predicted, but you would be wrong
