Bresser Messier 127 & 150 chromatic refractors

Does anyone own either of theses scopes and if so what are their conclusions regarding their performance? At $1000 and $1400 respectively they appear to represent "value for money" but reviews are thin on the ground.

Yeah, I'd be interested, especially on how they perform with a Baader Semi-APO filter, the 150mm looks perfect for me as the next scope, except for the chromatic aberrations... I have the Megrez semi-APO and that bothers me. I think they are the same as the Synta/Skywatcher ones?

By the look of the fittings on the tubes the Bresser achromats are made by JOC which supplies Hioptic, Explore Scientific and other brand names.
The scopes will likely be good quality achromats, but being achromats a purple fringe around bright objects (and mauve haze across them) is to be expected.
