Nice lenticular clouds, don't see them very often around these parts, but saw them almost daily over Mount Etna when there a few years ago.

Lenticular clouds, that's the name I was looking for. Don't see them often here either.

I love lenticular clouds, they are sooo cool. If they have appeared once in that location they will come again when conditions are right and they can be spectacular when conditions are optimal.

Well they seem to have come just before a big lot of rain. 75mm today and still coming down
