Venus at 1% illumination

Again this afternoon, the sky open up for a few moments.

Seeing wasn't as good as yesterday, but Venus is readily visible through the camera on my computer screen.

1% illuminated, 8.1 deg from the Sun!

This is getting better. Must be quite dangerous with the Sun nearby.

Indeed! I only look at it from my computer screen, safely away under the shade.
