Well, who knew I would try this stuff for the first time and it would become a subject for the monthly challenge?

Late at night under the granite boulders known as Legoland on the Orroral ridge in Canberra's mountains.

Pretty spooky there by yourself at 11pm - the second time in my entire life I have ever got the heeby-jeebies alone out bush.

I hope that this image constitutes as Painting with Light. This was taken in a storm water tunnel in Melbourne. I used a handheld flash, a LED torch and tea candles to light her up. There is no natural light in this tunnel even in the middle of the day. This was taken with a Nikon D7000, 10.5mm fisheye @ F/2.8, it has been edited in post via Lightroom (perhaps too much!). Thanks for looking!

I took this while I was on a commercial shoot a couple of years ago at a carnival thing just outside of LA. It was a really strange experience as all the lights and most of the rides were going but the carnival was closed. So, except for the 200 or so drunk Mexican carnies in one area, our crew were the only ones in there.

Painting and wall 'painted with light' from a nearby stained-glass window.
This was taken in late September inside St Vitus Cathedral in Prague.

I ran in and illuminated the tunnel with my headtorch but got caught in the act. This tunnel was built specifically for Patrons to acess the Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festivals in the North of the Byron Shire.

LITERALLY light painting - I splashed glowstick contents on my hands and shot this in total darkness. I call it Predator, for obvious reasons

I know it won't win, but you have to admit, it is different!

Glow Worms

Taken a few months ago before I stuffed up my knee, 1 minute exposure with about 15 seconds of torch light.
