NGC2035, NGC2014 and NGC2020 in Narrowband

Hi,

I've been slowly hacking away at this as I find it very intriguing and intend to add a lot more hours but thought I'd post my early attempts, noisy one at that!

I love Fred (Bassnut)'s version of this and followed the same method, LRGB -> Ha:S2:Ha:O3.
This one however has only 1 hour of Ha. hope to add more once I have a few clear nights.
10inchF4, STF8300M, NEQ6, Lodestar, Baader 7nm Filters.
Processed in Startools.

Ha - 3 x 20min bin 1x1
S2,O3 - bin 2x2

Larger version - http://www.astrobin.com/full/70803/0/

Comments welcome.

Alistair

That's a great image Alistair. These LMC nebs are a great source of imaging targets.

Greg.

Thanks John, the green makes it look electric and that's what I like about it.
Lots of Red missing which is S2.

yes Greg, There are so many interesting nebulae. I've been snooping around using the microsoft world wide telescope and there are quite a few interesting shapes to image.

you should try a few targets with your 16803.

In my best Richie Benaud voice ...

Super shot, that one. That's gone all the way to the boundary for four.

Thats looking great Alistair, and those colours are really nice. Lots of intriguing details, and it's good to see those LMC nebulae being imaged.

Thanks for the comments Astrobot, Mike, Rolf.

I presume this is the donut you're referring to Mike, kinda reminds me of ... Mike Wazowski!!

We have 4 clear nights coming up, so can't wait to add a few nights of S2 and O3 and see what comes up.

This would look cool from a dark site, but I have to make do with my LP backyard.

Cheers
