I was inspired by the image that Shiraz (Ray) posted of NGC1365 just recently to see if I was able to get some of the very faint detail that he managed on this object from BrisVegas.
I started out with 5 min subs and then went to 10 min subs for a total of 2+ hours Luminance, but it looks as if I have to go back to at least 20min subs to extract the very faint detail of these interacting galaxies. In the original Im just beginning to see hints of the very faint outer arms wrapping round these merging objects and I would love to go deep on this interesting area.
The cores have shown some nice detail but its the faint stuff I want.

Imaged with 10"SCT with f6.3 FR.

A valiant effort, Allan, but I reckon the shot noise from the sky glow is going to make it very difficult to pick up the faint outer extensions. HyperLeda doesn't list an overall surface brightness but the Mean surface brightness within isophote 25 is 23.77 mag/arcsec2. You'll need megadata and more

Allan, nice round stars. Well tracked with a mirror flop SCT. What mount?

Mount is a Losmandy GII with Gemini I. It's tracking like a champion ATM and I'm loath to touch it while all is going fine but I'm about to get an Ovision worm for it to try and get the last that it's capable of.
The SCT has been a champion scope with essentially no mirror flop even after a meridian flip and has round stars right across the field even with a f6.3 FR on it. Been really lucky with my scopes and thanks for the comments.
