The Sprinter

The Sprinter, one of my favourite clusters; and one that I've not seen
on this forum. Sorry I forgot to orient it to it's upright position.
I like it's gold running shoes and the gold medal on it's chest.

Another nice shot Ray. Do you know if it has an NGC or IC number? If not where it be in the sky?

Thanks Kevin and Andrew, The image I uploaded was too small, and therefore lacked punch. I am new to resizing images, maybe this one
is better. It is NGC 2516 Kevin. It is stunning if you blow it up to 150 or 200% on your screen.

Found it! It images nice even in full moonlight. I'll have to shoot it again when the moon is gone.

What a fantastic image and cluster, some clusters you think how do people come up with what they see but this one is really good.
Totally agree with the shoes and medal..
