Takahashi FSQ-106ED

For Sale: Stunning FSQ-106ED - the Perfect Astrograph

Like new. Just back from the Takahashi factory for cleaning and servicing. This FSQ-106 has a built-in camera angle adjuster that permits 360° rotation of the camera, making the FSQ-106 the perfect astrograph. The exceptionally large 88mm image circle will permit the use of any CCD camera both standard and newer "big-chip" designs.

This double fluorite design provides some of the best, high contrast views of deep sky objects you'll ever see and image. I am the second owner and both the optics and tube are in pristine condition.

This is a reluctant sale as I'm heading in a different direction. Asking A$4700 shipped to your door.

A few have asked about the objective coatings. I've attached a couple of shots. It is difficult to show, but they are perfect, as expected.

Someone posted to this listing, but it got deleted as per the TOS.
Fair enough.
The thrust of this post was to point out that the scope has history, serious history.
In the hands of a proficient astro-imager, it can provide spectacular images.

I believe Jase won a very prestigious award with this scope.
