Canopus star field

Another set from the QHY8/SLR lens setup.
I am having a lot of fun getting stuff with this very simple arrangement.
The colour seems a bit odd, I always thought Canopus seemed white/yellowish-white to my eye.
This processed out a weird, pale greenish -blue.

Here's what Wiki says about 2nd brightest star in the night sky:

canopus star feild

That's very pretty - just out of interest, are you using the SLR lens adaptor from Gama? and how are you achieving focus?
Cheers
Graham.

Thanks Graham,
It is an adaptor I made on my lathe.
I worked out the spacing I needed to give me quite a bit of focus
range near infinity on all of my old SLR lenses. Nikon bayonet to
QHY8 nosepiece.
