Fornax Blue Egg NGC1360

SPX350 F4.5, ST10XME, Astrodon filters. RGB/Ha5nm/OIII 3nm.

Thought I would give this object the NarrowBand treatment to lift up the contrast as it does have some structure to it. Did not have much time for the RGB as the wind is almost continuous. The PN is quite large and bright at over 1,000 lyrs distance shining with mag 9.4. There are 2 red jets either end one easily seen the other very faint originating from the initial expansion.

Ha/OIII-100min each
RGB-8x3min each.

Thanks for looking, John.

Great image John and with just a little detail too. Really intrigued by the colours in this and it makes a good catch.

Excellent project John and great results, and here I was thinking it wasn't worth shooting because it had no details
