Objects near the sun - Unsure!

Took these photos of object we observed near the sun yesterday. They were there for hours. Any ideas?

Not possible to be internal lens reflections. They were visible to the naked eye and seen by numerous people.

The nearest phenomena that I have photographed which may be candidates for what you have photographed, are weather balloons.

I observed this one for maybe 15 mins before returning to my prime goal of photographing the US George Washington aircraft carrier docked in Brisbane.

Here is an example taken with a 400mm F5.6 lens.

Cheers

Dennis
