Hi all,
Finally a clear night here... Well sort of. Plan was to revisit M83 with new knowledge & kit, but that part of the sky was cloudy. So I remembered a mental note I'd made to myself about shooting NGC1977 before Orion disappears for the year. Got a few shots in, before the whole sky clouded over

To make matters worse I realised as soon as I came in that I had been shooting in Small Jpef setting. Arghh.
At least it made stacking & processing a breeze! Fine for the website though.
Image details are...
C8 @ f/6.3.
Canon 300D @ ISO1600 Jpeg Small fine setting!
7x2min dark frame subtracted images
Guided with ST80, ToUCam, Star-Mate, & K3CCDTools as usual.
Processed with Photoshop & tidied up with NeatImage
Cheers
