The view from Mauna Kea

Just returned from a trip to Hawaii. Made it to the top of Mauna Kea. At over 13,000 feet the view and sunset were simply breathtaking

The 4 telescopes are Subaru, Keck 1, Keck 2 and the NASA infrared facility.

Wow – what a stunning view and what an iconic location. Love the gorgeous palette of soft hues and pastel colours. Scrolling the 2nd pano was breathtaking.

Cheers

Hi Richard,

Hope you have been keeping well.

I would have thought that the thin atmosphere would have been breathtaking enough
but your views are magnificent!

Best regards
