Rats!!!

how old is this building!!! the entire area under the library (work) is like a giant cavern. under ther i recon there are hundreds of rats...

this morning one of these denizens of the underground found its way into the childrens library so being the sole representitive of the male of the species here it was put upon me to capture this dangerous beast!!!
I had it trapped in a corner and with upturned garbage bin i pounced like a loepard upon an unsuspecting fawn!!! naturally i took a picture before calling the ranger to dispose of it, but alas i cannot upload it from my phone here as i have no bluetooth connectivity on my work PC... you will have to take my word for it that it could have been mistaken for a rotwieler or even a small grizzley bear for it was enormous!!!

you can now tell me how brave i am!

it has been hanging around my office and i can smell it (yuck)! the vanilla spay only just covers it up...

The bush rats at home are little darlings they look so cute and I hate it when I drive a poker thru them. They never touch the food but I dont like them in the house. But the main problem with them is I built a "little tube' (long dew tube with baffles) using paper and flour glue and they eat that the only place it is safe is hanging from the ceiling. Three of them climbed in one night when viewing with it I dont know who was the most surprised when I shone a toarch down the tube. I have two flying rats (bats) that come in and fly around me and I worry about the things they carry, but nothing I do deters them.
I dont like it when snakes come in either (after the rats) I dont mind the carpet snake he was a pet once but having a brown in the house is life threatning, blacks are not a problem the dogs fix them and supposedly if they are present browns are rare.
Bower birds are the worst they come in after the dog food and pinch fruit.
Other than that nopthing really.

O yeah, it's all true Vingo.

Especially the bit about the elephant! We have Australian elephants out here.

But we don't like them hanging around coz they keep killing all the Tyrannusaurus Rex's (tame ones of course).

Ving I hope you sent that mammoth to the taxidermist. Even if you can't get your trophy indoors, think of the publicity you could get mounting it in the front yard.
You'd be a suburban legend.
