Great , you will love the views , Ha solar observing is very addictive .
Go out and buy a black scarf to throw over your head and eyepiece end of the scope while viewing the sun and you will see so much more detail , and be a lot cooler , enjoy your new toy Stefan.

Would the Meade DSI Mono that I got be alright for imagine the Sun?

I initially got it for Deep Sky stuff but haven't had the chance to try it out yet so if I can use it for the Sun as well that would be great!
