Galaxy Quest continues...

Yep, it's another NGC 253, but I was exited to bag another galaxy after bagging NGC 55 last month, and it's my first crack at this one!

6 x 10 min subs - had to throw away 6 more because the camera collided with the tripod leg while I was sleeping, d'oh!

Captured in Nebulosity, finished in Photoshop.

Nice detail in the galaxy you have there Andy. Your background is a little noisy though. Sorry to hear about the collision, hope everything survived ok. I would be absolutely devastated if that happened to me.

I agree with Rex. Colour and detail are great, and with a bit more data you can get the noise down. Nice work. Nothing as satisfying as nabbing galaxies IMHO.
