How low a man can go: Cocoon from Lat=-20deg

Hello,
This is an image if Cocoon, declination=+47degrees, taken from a latitude of -20 degrees.

Of course the image has all kind of deficiencies, however the altitude range of capture was from 5 to 20 degrees (culmination).

From this image it is possible to see part of the dark nebula B168 surrounding the hydrogen nebula as well as some details on cocoon nebula.

Nice image and not over processed.

Far better than any of mine this week. (clouds, clouds and wait for it more clouds)

The dark neb. is definitely there, a bit deeper exposure will really make it stand out.

Thank you my friends for the nice comments. The capture of objects belonging to northern skies from the southern hemisphere it is very demanding but at the same time very pleasant when the outcome is at least reasonable. By the other hand, of course, they won't be never perfect.
