Possible phishing
I just had a phone call from someone claiming to be Mastercard/Visa with an Indian voice.
He had my name and address and wanted to confirm a transaction before releasing it. I still found this rather strange since whenever either of my banks wants to query a CC transaction I get an Australian voice.
For confirmation of my ID he wanted the first 6 digits of the card so I asked if it was a M/C or Visa. He said it was an NAB issued card. I don't have any accounts with NAB and hung up.
