Denkmeier Binotron 27 + OCS A45 (plus 24 Pans)

Used once Denkmeier Binotron 27s. I bought these to experiment with bino viewing on my 16" dob. Unfortunately because the dob was setup very specifically for the new SIPS focuser it would require shortening the poles by around 1.5" which I'm not prepared to do.

It however works great with our Tak 5" - and is a beautiful piece of machinery with the three different magnification options as well as the inbuilt coma corrector etc. It was an experiment and I'm prepared to move on and let another soul try and enjoy the bino viewing experience. They work as advertised and are quite easy to collimate etc with the included tool.

From all my research these are the ducks pyjamas - the last word currently in bino viewing. This is the super package able to be super for a Newt, Refractor or SCT by changing the various spacing options etc.

Cost me $1248 USD with their introduction special - Currently selling for around $1550 USD.

I'm not greedy however ... $999 AUD including shipping anywhere in the country and they are yours...

Also - I have a set of brand new, used once 24mm Panoptics (pretty much the perfect eyepiece to use with these at 1.3,2 and 3x viewing) - $500 for anyone who wants them with the binos. Otherwise I will separate and sell once the binos go... I'd like whoever buys the bino viewer to have first option on them.

I'll upload some pics later when I've unpacked my astro bits and camera from the Vic South start party.
