Hello everyone,
After months of inactivity I have finally managed to drag my Cassegrain outside on the weekend.. Despite lots of unexpected issues with IC Capture software (manifesting themselves as image transmission failures) I managed to take few clips of the outer giants and planet Venus one week from greatest elongation. Conditions were hardly ideal, high level patchy cloud with occasional bursts of wind shaking entire telescope assembly..
Here's one of the best attempts at Venus in visible light, taken half an hour before sunset. DFK 21AU618 @ 1/3333 sec, 60 fps in Y800 mode, 3x TV Barlow. Approximately 500 frame AS!2 stack, post processed in Registax and Astra Image.
Thanks for looking.
