Putting in a bird bath has attracted lots of critters, especially in the dry. Here are a couple that like to get wet plus a hawk that was swooping for bread(!).

Some nice shots there Geoff, the third shot looks pretty funny. The bird is like, "hey, what you lookin at?" I really like the Hawk shot too.

All these were taken on my balcony with a 600D / Sigma 150-500. The bird bath is about 10m from where I sit and the hawk was coming in to get bread that I threw near there.
