Talking R/C Hovercraft - $80

Hi folks,

Decided to re-list my ad for my R/C hovercraft, at a cheaper price! I've only used it thrice, bought it on impulse and unfortunately just never play with it. It's in great condition, I'm selling it because I rarely find time to use it and so would rather give to someone who will.

It's made from very strong EDF foam. Has 2 x Brushless Electric ducted fans and a very good 2.4ghz radio system (Which comes with fully adjustable settings i.e. throttle trim, fan direction trim, reversible controls, input sensitivity etc) and runs on 3S 11.1V LiPo power battery (Included). I get a run time of 15min and doesn't take very long to charge.

It's not a cheap toy which just has 'Go/Stop' setting, you can control exactly how much lift and thrust it has by squeezing the trigger accordingly, as well as trim and other features. And no sorry, it doesn't run on water!

It's *sooo* much fun to use, and is very fast so I definitely wouldn't recommend it for little childern. The power it produces is unbelievable. It's great fun watching it power slide all over the place and it can take a beating very well.

I'm asking for only $80, bought it for over $130. Local pick up only for now

Michael

Hey Peter,

As in the ad I mentioned it won't run on water, but if you strapped some floaties or styro I don't see why not

Is your hovercraft full of eels? (I just had to use that line somewhere, someday)

I have a friend I will send this ad too - he is seriously into this stuff.

My kid sunk his 10yrs ago in winter doing 'donuts' in cecils hills lake. I remember going in there in the water to retrieve it. They're fun though.

Haha Lewis! No it's not and thank you, I hope your friend is interested.

Rodd I'm sorry but I dont get what you mean... brain has ceased functioning knowing it's a friday tomorrow

And that's hilarious Marc! I'm surprised you managed to get it out of the water (And also not deep freeze). They really are fun to play with, power slides are always the most satisfying hehe

My Hovercraft is full of eels!

Its a Monty Python Sketch. Fake Hugarian Phrasebook
Hugarian goes into a Tobaconist, Says "My Hovercraft is full of eels"
when asking for matches.

I'm into Hovercraft and have a couple of real ones.

Also have this model R/C Hovercraft.
The reason you shouldn't use it on water is the lift motor is underneath the lift fan so is easy to get water in it. Silly design.
But heaps of fun on land.
