Indeed congratulations Terry. First heard about number 4 last night and thought it's about time. This is one difficult area for amateurs to compete in and you dun good.
Now to explain to Wendy why there are $ at the end of the comet rainbow and none at the supernova end.

Plus the fact that you get to attach the family name to them is a bit tricky to
explain.

Maybe you are in the wrong line of work Peter?

Great work Terry - well done.

I was impressed your presentation at AAIC. It's good to see that your hard work has paid off again.

Based on the 50 observations in MPEC, CdC computes it as currently 19.5, then 17.2 by early October, 12.2 for early November and brightest at 8.8 in mid December.
However it will only be above the horizon during daytime from late November until February.

I have just downloaded the latest ephemeris from the minor planets center, and it gives it's mag at 14.3
I don't think Terry would image a 19.5 mag comet with such a short exposure.
Read the article here.

True Gary. ,
But there are some other rewards we have been fortunate to receive.
Amateur astronomy can truly be rewarding.
