That's a good image Paula!

Very good colour balance, and star colours are wonderful.

Cheers,

Nice image. Interesting spikes around the stars in the bottom right. What's causing that?

There caused by the ed100 objective spacer's and can be fixed pretty simply by trimming them back, though its only seen on extremely bright stars and adds to the image IMO to make something unique.

Good effort Paula. That time again - like clockwork - the herald of summer in the SH. Looking forward to some widefields of M42 and M45 this year.

Kill the green.

Ah ok - I've got to agree it's interesting and does make it unique looking. I couldn't recall seeing anything like it before. Thanks for the explanation.

Nice, I actually haven't looked at old faithful in a while!
Looks like you are getting good data out of the new scope.

What are you using for focusing, the stars are nice and round, but it looks just a touch soft.
