[WITHDRAWN] Docter 8x58 Binocular

This is a great binocular however I have too many binoculars and decided to let this one go to make funds for other projects. It is best suited for low light conditions such as maritime, hunting, nature watching at dusk. For astronomy it will be at it's best when used from a very dark site where your eye pupils can open up to maximum to take advantage of the large exit pupils.

Never the less it works very well for daytime use. It is comfortable, waterproof and very well made. The roof prisms are Abbe-Koenig for maximum light transmission, the coatings are excellent. It has adjustable eyecups and a high quality neoprene neck strap. It is large and heavy but then there is a lot of glass in there. There is no case supplied by the manufacturer. I will include the original packaging.

I purchased this new from TS in Germany July last year. It is in excellent condition. The current replacement cost is approx $1100AUD.

Price is $775 and I prefer local pickup (Perth WA). If it doesn't sell locally I will consider posting within Australia.

This will be wonderful for comet seeking from dark sky locations. It has an actual field of view of 6.7 degrees. It is a very tough and robust binocular that will last a lifetime. It is a great bargain at this price. Let me know if you want to haggle.
