Sol here are my second and third LRGB images with my Atik 383L+, from Monday and Wednesday nights last week. NGC1232 and M74; 120:30:30:30 and 110:40:40:40. I'm encouraged, but reckon I need much more data for both, especially imaging from the suburbs. I was planning to get some but the clouds rolled in.
NGC 1232 is a pretty little thing! I like the satellite galaxy it has. M74 is harder to image that its size and brightness would suggest, at least from the latitude of Canberra.
Good shots of tricky face on galaxies extra credit for that. Big data always helps, but not everyone has the time and or good location to get it.
Working in the City sky glow is all I could do a couple of years ago. Now I have a good location to go to but rarely have the time to get there and use the scope.
