First Tarantula with OSC

Hi folks,

Finally got a Hutech IDAS LP filter for the 8300c so had a crack at the tarantula from my suburban back yard. 12 x 5 mins, with darks.

I processed it to boost the colours, and it could look a bit neon for some people's taste but hey why not?

Slight star movement noticed, not sure why - and not quite a sharp as I'd hoped, but it's not too bad I guess.

Thanks for looking.

Andy

Good work Andy! Shame about the slight smudging cause it looks like you've otherwise got some good details in there.

Cheers,
Cam

Looking good Andy; I'm always getting caught by the saturation police too. I think your image is looking ok. Just practise, and with better seeing you'll get sharper results.

Cheers,
Steve

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone!
I'm still learning heaps, and have a very long way to go to match the superb standards of some the experts here. But i'm finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel

Cheers
Andy

Here is hoping for decent weather for the weekend. Still looking to come out?

Nice shot too. Particularly from the light pullution you have to deal with.
