NGC 300 with a bit more punch
Hi to all
In spite of all the nice replies about the previous posting I thought that my first NGC 300 looked a little flat. This latest version is more colorful and packs a bit more "punch" I think. Maybe I'll go back and get more data at some stage.
Cheers
Steve

I like both, but this version is certainly more "dramatic". The data is very high resolution and can support the extra push.

Both versions look great Steve, but I prefer this version...the more colour the better!

Thanks Ross. I follow the R Jay Gabany philosophy - lots of colour

Thanks Ray. Of course the best thing would be lots more data. This galaxy seems to require it.

Steve, out of interest, I did one Ha 25min sub in my city location and failed! It certainly needs dark skies, for my system at least.
So, good job on getting the nice result you did!
It's a tough object.
Cheers,
Steve

Thanks Dave. I wouldn't call this thing terribly high contrast though.

Thanks Steve. The chart 32 guys in Chile at CTIO needed 28 hours with a 32" telescope for NGC 300 and they are setting new standards of excellence.
