Hey Zane,

Is this a North Group branded scope?

There's no branding on the scope but I understand it to be from the North Group Factory

I'd been asked what it the scope is like for photography so i gave it a quick try , these shots are single exposures with a Fujifilm XE-1 and Borg flattener / reducer

It seems I didn't explain the point being able to use a bino view without a barlow / corrector
Through this scope you can use lower powers ( up to 1.7 degree field ) for sweeping though the Milky Way , dark nebulae stand out like never before looking like rivers of ink winding through the Milky Way and most objects have a 3D effect.
For planetary use or photographic use just install the spacer and use the barlow / corrector or a single eyepiece .
Makes for a very versatile scope.
