Hi Eric,

Very nice, and the star shape is very good. Have you recollimated recently, because it is a nice improvement on some of the others? Or is it that this image is not enlarged as much as some of your other shots? Confused me for a while with the 2 images until I worked out that one has been rotated 180 degrees to the other.

Well done.

Lester is right, your images with the new setup just keep going from strength to strength, keep it up mate, look forward to the next installment !
I love some of the detail in this one.

Eric, I know you tried with and without IR filter on your DSI but have you seen if the IR filter helps or hinders with the DSI II?

reason I ask is because I have an Orion Starshoot and without the IR filter-unless I have an OIII or H alpha filter in place -it just doesnt seem to work....(of course I image with refractors )

Cheers guys. I flip the image 180 degrees. Just like how the clouds from the galaxy on the bottom

Ive tired using the IR Filter on the DSI II. really distorts the image colour especially keyhole as it turned out green. Although I haven't tired with the IR Filter + the UHC-S yet. might give that combination a go. cheers seeker.
