I am selling my 8 inch GSO dobsonian, it's approximately 7 months old, bought new from Andrews. I have recently upgraded to a 12 inch.
Apart from the telescope you will get a film solar filter (as you can see in the picture I didn't do a great job at making it but you can take the film out and make another one if you'd like, film is $50 from Andrews), and 3 eyepieces (GSO plossl 6mm, 9mm and 15mm). It will also come with a red dot finder that is currently not attached to the scope.
I will also throw in a home built equatorial platform, if you want it, (bought off another IIS member who did a great job building it) that will allow you to dabble in astrophotography and is great for visual use, when properly aligned it will keep an object in the FOV for at least 30 or 40 minutes. The platform is too small for the 12 inch so I can no longer use it.
Total price is $200 (was $300) and pickup is from Cherrybrook 2126
