WOOT! More Op Shop book scores!

Starting to like these Op Shop book scrounges.

This time I came away with David Malin's "A view of the Universe" ($2) and "Full Moon" (a pictorial book with superb lunar photos, some I had never seen) by Michael Light for $3.

There was a VERY sad, but complete Tasco (Circle Z Japanese made) 49TE refractor for $28. VERY corroded aluminium, corroded unmovable focuser etc but the objective looked OK.

My mum gave my first scope a Tasco 60mm x 700mm, complete with wooden case to an op-shop...
On the bright side its been replaced with better stuff
Know many people who shop at 'better' i.e. wealthy suburb op-shops. Worth a look you never know what is within
