Sol from 28 September - 10 panel mosaic with giant filament

did this one with the DMK41 and the lunt60, the best 100 frames from a 1000 frame grab for each of the 10 grabs. tried hard to make it a good one but the seeing was very lazy, hazy and crazy. processed in autostakkert, frames cropped to get rid of the nasty edges then mosaic made in PS - then thin and crispy in registax 6 and the final touch up for colour in PS and crop

Taken Saturday morning 28 sept 2013 around 10am - the shrunken image is only 1000 pixels - real size is 2388 x 2433

Great work Dave, when I blink between the B&W then the colour version, I can’t decide which I prefer, both are excellent in their own right.

Cheers

Hi David, Very nice. I like the repro because I have always been partial towards crunchier contrast images
