M20

The Triffid, M20.
I've captured new data over the last couple of nights and added it to the couple of hours I captured at QLD Astrofest. It's up to 7hrs and 20min now and it's really starting to bring out that fainter stuff.
It's a tad overstretched but that's ok.
I've not done any sharpening on it.
ED127, CDS1100D, DSS and CS3.

beaut image - good colour and nice distinction between foreground and background stars, which shows the context of the nebula.

Looking good. I think you got the whole blue reflection neb area there.

Its hard to stay with the one target to build up enough exposure but its worth it.

Greg.

I agree Greg I'm like a kid in a candy store when I finally get out under the stars. So many brilliant objects a so little time.

Great image, wonderful detail. Nice work JJJ.
