Adelaide rosella

This cheeky little guy seemed to know I was taking his picture and posed for lots of photos before going into the tree hollow.
I was quite happy with the results.

Nice one Ingrid, very natural looking Ive forgotten my birds, is this an Eastern Rosella ?

It's an Adelaide rosella, Platycercus elegans, (sub family of the Crimson rosella). Common around Gawler and Adelaide hills.
