Ganymede, Io, Callisto and GRS 9pm 26 June

Hi Joop-hollics,

If the seeing is half good should make for a good image. No transits, but 3 moons very close to Jupiter plus GRS.

All the best.

Thanks Lester - weather permitting, will try to get out and see if I can remember how to do this stuff!

Cheers

ah man, don't tell me this.. i'm planning on going to bed early tonight thanks to very little sleep last night (sick family) and the AU V ITALY game tonight!

The jetstream looks good enough to go to bed early anyway, even if it's clear.

just got back from trying. Started at 4/10 = Jupiter like a stiff jelly and ended at 1/10=unset jelly. Couldn't focus at all at the end = 9pm so didn't get the moons at their closest approach.

Hope someone got em.
