Icelandic falls

Attached is one of the many picture-perfect scenes you get to see in Iceland. Unlike their relative rarity in Oz, the locals here say there are so many waterfalls they simply don’t have names for them all. Weather here is also incredibly variable....and cloudy...making sky shooting a challenge.

We found a waterfall somewhere in the North-West imaginatively named "Foss"

Yep... unusual seeing most place-names seem to have at least 20 letters in them

Thanks... This was just a quickie I uploaded while waiting in the Iceland Air lounge before our flight. Will probably post a blog/website if any are interested.

We took about 64gig worth of photos...it will take me weeks to work through them all.

Iceland is most assuredly near the top of my bucket list. So starkly beautiful.

The Dettifoss from Prometheus' opening sequence secured it in my MUST see listing, but there are SO many more beautiful ones, like Gullfoss and Svartifoss

That is the sort of image that I would expect on expensive postcards. Give Steve Parish a run for his money.
