Problems with canon 60d raws in beta DSS

I have had mixed success processing my 60d raws in beta DSS. They seem to process best with black point ticked and auto and camera white balance left unticked . Today I tried processing some 10 minute exposures at ISO 400 through a SW ED120 and obtained a stacked image with black holes . I suspected the darks and tried a master dark from another nights session with similar results. Eventually I did a batch conversion of the lights and darks to 16 bit tiffs and stacked them in DSS to produce an image that after processing in DSS and PS looked similar to the original raws. Any ideas what's going on?
Regards philip
