Jupiter with neximage brown or coloured

Hi,

The seeing tonight started at 4/10= stiff jelly and ended at 1/10= unset jelly. Unfortunately didn't get the moons at their closest aproach. Managed to get to avis at different brightness to show how to capture in colour or different brown toning.

1.= 5fps gain=70 gama=0 exp=1/50 sat=50 brightness=50

2.= 5fps gain=70 gama=0 exp=1/25 sat=50 brithtness=25

stacked 300 waveletts 6=60 5=40 4=20 with some histogram strech to brighten images. No other processing.

Nice images. Had you captured at 100% saturation on the 1st one, you would have been right on the money with those settings.

I was just interested to see if I could get the same colouring that you and others have been getting with the toucam. But also to see if those settings would conquer the dreaded onion rings. But guess what tonight and last night in bad conditions I haven't got onions with either settings.

where is a good onion when you want one?

Well I haven't got rid of'em. To get the coloured image is the same settings I used a week ago, when I saw 3d stuff across the EQ belts, but the stacked image had onions 1/2 way into the centre.

Turtles

Hi Lester, the colours of the first one would be good with a bit more saturation. I had a go tonight but seeing was poor and there was nothing worth keeping.

David suggested in a recent thread that the members of this forum are advanced by world standards so perhaps I shouldn't admit this, but the 2 blue festoons above the GRS make it look awfully like one of the Ninja Turtles.

Hi Graeme,

Yes I will try that with 100% saturation.

Sorry showing my age, don't know what a ninja turtle looks like.
