The camera has been fed 12 V via dummy battery due to faulty regulator.
Repairs too costly.

Good price did you send it in for a quote for repair ?
If so did they tell you what board was not working and what that board was ?

I did send the camera in for repair, but got no details.

Any chance of asking about the quote and ask them what board it is ?
If you can as I may be able to get that board cheap ! for a main board is about $210.00....

If it was that simple I would have done it myself.
Just come to think of it, they said it was not worth repairing.
Hence my wording: For spares only.
