ISS over Brisbane 6th September *video added*

Tonight's ISS over Brisbane. The first image is a 3x Drizzle stack of 9 frames and the second image is a composite of 337 images where the ISS appeared on the sensor.

Canon EOS 600D, HD 3x crop movie mode, ISO 800, 1/4000th sec, 30fps, at prime focus of Sky Watcher 12" Dobsonian, pushed by hand to track.

Video added here:

Well done Tom!

Imagine seeing all those space stations streaking across the sky for real. Very messy

Great effort Tom. It must be tricky keeping it on the sensor.

Yeah amazing stuff Tom.
I must be thick, I assume the second shot is all the frames. If so how the hell did you get them to line up for a stack or did you just hand register the 9 frames from the 300 odd.

Thankyou everyone, I'm glad you enjoyed the pics. Ralph, I aligned 9 images with Registax using "Centre of Gravity".

I have posted a video in the original post.

Cheers,

Tom

Really excellent work Tom, the video clip was inspirational, firing the imagination with awe and wonder that there are human beings dwelling and working up there.

Cheers

Dennis

That is insanely good, love how it gets bigger and twists showing its 3D structure.

John.
