looks promising, the text is a bit hard to read on that beaut starry background, maybe yellow text? looks good to start with. i am no web programmer but maybe need to develop the links a bit better between screens.

Thanks Guys for your observations.
Lester, you clicked and nothing happened, hmmmm, you couldnt be more specific could you please, Ive tested it with all the browsers and OS that I can think of. Im confused... .
Houghy, I see your point. want to keep the overall brightness of the screen down, without compromising on visual impact or legebility. Ill see what I can do ,,,maybe get rid of the twinkley's.
You think the hand controller is a nice touch, ?.
I might touch up one the other buttuns, to read, IIS. with appropriate linkage.. or maybe,,,,Woooaaa. Abort Abort Abort... A Control Alt Delete function..ha ha ha ha
Again Thanks Guys.

Oh Lester,,,just a thought...The site wont work properly if you have javascript disabled. that might be it, should be enabled by default. But if your is disabled you would have probs with many other sites, including probably this one.

Hey Shawn,
Good effort... what software did you use to build the pages?
I like the star photo you used in the background, but Houghy is right... it is way too busy and distracts the user from the content. I think you'll still have trouble reading it if it were yellow. I'd choose something a little less busy or maybe you could try dimming the photo somehow so it wasn't as bright?
Also, it's common practice to have the menu structure appear in the same spot on most of (if not all) the pages... just like the IIS site. This allows people to navigate anywhere easily without having to constantly go back to the main page.
And... your site should be designed so that it still works with Javascript turned off... many people don't have it on for security reasons. There's plenty of info on the web on how to make menus work either way.
You may enjoy looking through this website http://www.webpagesthatsuck.com/. You can learn good web practices by looking at the mistakes others have made... some of it really amusing.
You're off to a great start and it's got that professional feel to it... keep up the good work.

Hi Shawn,
I found the site to be pretty good, i liked the stars twinkling, good touch. I agree with David about the text though. Good idea with the mouse over on the Meade controler but i did find the red text sort of hard to work out clearly as it seemed to be clashing within its self .

Hey Thanks Guys, its good love the feedback. Maybe as you say, ditch the frames, work over the menu at top , so it stays with you, and do something about the text....Im taking notes,,,,
Cheers, I wait for a cloudy night....

Hi Shawn.
I'd say ditch the backdrop. Also, it's a little bit of a resource hungry page. I can see CPU usage go up as soon as I move the mouse over the menus. The pulldown menus on IIS for example serve the same function but have little impact on CPU usage.
Generally I like simple clean pages, where an overview of the content is easy to take in at a glance. But that kind of thing is a matter of personal preference (and ability of one's brain to process information).

I found it pretty good, wouldn't change much.
Menus and links need a little work as already suggested and I would try houghy's suggestion of yellow text, but not sure.
Also on a higher resolution screen (1280x1024) two minor irritations.
The Autostar (great idea) is just chopped off at bottom in the middle of the screen.
A part of the mount image gets repeated on the right of the screen.
Liked the link to "Dancing with The Stars", nice touch.
