23 June best Jupiter Meade 14" SCT

Hi everyone,

Here is image toned down a bit more, waveletts 6=50 5=30 4=20

Thought I would start up new thread coz some of the other images were quite over saturated.

This is the BEST Lester.... rare you find an amateur image of Jupiter you could spend more than a few seconds perusing... this one you just fall into it. Looked at it for fully five minutes and still noticing fresh detail... it's enough to make one consider getting a Meade OTA!

You guys are Amazing and that image just keeps getting better - didn't think it possible. I still don't think I've EVER seen more detail in the equatorial region, the festooning beggars belief

Thanks Dennis, Peter and Robert,

I am amazed at what Asi has done to bring out the detail in astraimage.

I will be getting some lessons on astraimage shortly, from the Shiek of Tweek, (no not that cricketer) But Asimov pbjp=personal best Jupiter processor.

GREAT! Asi your reprocess is fantastic, except the colours are TOO saturated for my liking.. it's introduced some "artificial" colours in the festoons.. at least that's my take on it.

Absolutely awesome capture and great teamwork guys.

Lesters images are actually the hardest I've worked with Mike. I tried taking some of the colour out (mainly the orange) but at the loss of another colour etc etc.

I'm sure theres a solution. Just takes time to find.

I'm with you Mike, and have commented on numerous occasions.

Maybe it's in the optics... maybe in the capture, maybe in the processing... or a combination of these.

But the saturation is definitely rich and there's also that "darkness" issue to consider. That tends to suggest capture and process tweeks are possible culprits?

Nice images.... though.
