August 18th Sol

A lazy Sunday morning effort. No mosaics, just a full frame run from the GX6.0mp. Procesed in negative colours... it's hard to be positive about an all- blacks win .....

Superb capture Peter, it's great to to see a permanent record of the day's events. I spent an hour or so this morning with my SM90/TeleVue Bino's/TeleVue 20mm Plossl's and the viewing was excellent in the mountains.

Hey Peter, laid back, but not a lazy result! Way to go with a one pane grab. Tons of action there

I meant to ad Peter, footy games move in cycles just like the Sun or maybe not, depends on who's playing/paying?

Ta. Just so-so seeing on the coast...but the transparency has been excellent.

Our lot can't seem to run, kick, bat, bowl or do much of anything well of late...

Thanks Ted... at larger image scales, mosaics still win IMHO.

I've toyed with moving up to the PGR 9.1 megapixel but despite the extra pixels it is still the same 1" format. With lower capture rates and dynamic range on the 6.0mp version I'm not sure it would be a forward step for me.

...will however be looking at Paul's efforts with some interest!

Yep, the Wallabies have been in rugby minimum versus the All Blacks over the past 10 years - maybe the cycle will change!?

Thanks Matt... hope it's not a disk...hemisphere fits better with my world view.
